  AE upgrade question

  This may be a dumb question but I’m going to ask anyway. I looking to buy the after effects CS3 version. Will that version work with the 1.5 premier and oncore or do I need to upgrade those also? Also, what is the difference between the AE CS3 version and AE 7. Thanks for your help.
