Is there a way to export an OMF (or other split audio track type file) from after effects, to be read in a Pro Tools (I normally export OMF 2.0 from avid, with embededd media, looking to do the same with AE)

    any suggestions?

I dont think you can export an OMF without a plug (if it even exists). I would import back into Avid, then from there import to Pro Tools.

You can Render out an OMF but I recall that there are restrictions on AE’s implementation. Check the manual and/or help files cos’ I recall seeing a writeup on the limitations.

The OMF export from AE is video-only.
