To me this *should* be possible, but im not sure.

I want to colour correct dpx files in PPro 2. I don’t believe i can open them direct, but i can get them into AE7. In AE i have a lot of control over exposure etc,. but the colour correction tools are a bit awkward to use.

So if i take the 32 bit AE composition into PPro what happens to the colour? I’d read somewhere it sticks to RGB. But i did a quick test with the 3way colour corrector and i don’t believe that’s working in 32 bit (although it was a very quick test).

Does anyone know for sure if this workflow should work?

Or have another approach to CC with higher than 10bit source?

    thanks
