So..I had a real quick question for you..if you can help.

Im trying to export data from aftereffects to C4D.

Basically I have a video clip that is doing a dolly shot.
I am motion tracking the dolly shot in after effects to a null object, and then parenting the null to a camera.
So I can build around the camera shot in 3d.

The script I have now, I found on https://aenhancers.com/ it will export data from ae to c4d, but not “parented layers”.

I have tried everything. Been on all the forums..searched all the sites…creative cow, ae scripts, c4d cafe..etc… but cant figure out a workaround.

Can you help, and if so, if I need to BUY this script..I WILL.

    -Cheers
    Zack B.

You may be able to use the Camera Tracker plugin form the Foundry (or SynthEyes or Boujou) to track the camera move in the shot and apply that to a AE camera.

Maybe using Michael Gochoco’s Bake Parented Transform script [link] to move those transforms out of local space and back to AE’s world space will give pt_AEtoC4D the data it needs?
