  AE to Avid MC6 – color issues

  I’m having issues finding the best way to export from AFter Effects CS5.5 (win) to AVid MC6 (mac). I ran some test exporting a clip shot with Caon 7D to RGB and 709 and both looked off compared with the “master.”

  RGB seems more washed out and less saturated while 709 is more contrast-y and more color saturated when viewed in QT on mac.

  Should i color manage (file > project settings > working space) as right now it’s set to None? If so to what?

  Then when importing to Avid MC6 (on mac) what should i import it as? RGB or 709? It seems Canon’s h264 is RGB so would correct choice be RGB?
