Doing a logo animation in AE, SD 720 X 486. Using the CC Light Rays effect. Keyframed in and out along with intensity frame in-between.

At it’s most intense, a pesky light grey frame appears inside the frame, revealing an edge. Avid is set to YCBR 601 and AE to SDNTSC colorsoace.

Exported from AE using Animation, RGB and Alpha.

How do I get rid of the edge?

    Thanks!

I’m having trouble picturing the issue — can you post a screenshot?

Is it an issue of alpha interpretation (straight vs. premultiplied)?

Stuck on a PC at work, at home the Mac is no prob.

    What’s the procedure?

[Chip Hess] “Now I am trying to take a MC screen shot on a PC, to post here. Stuck on a PC at work, at home the Mac is no prob. What’s the procedure?”

Windows 7: Snipping Tool. (Click the Windows key or the start button, then start typing Snipping Tool until it returns the application as the search result.)

Otherwise: Press the PrintScreen button, then open up Photoshop (or Microsoft Paint if you don’t have Ps), paste, and save.
