Why does AE stretch my footage when I import it? All the resolutions are set correctly, and in the preview top left it looks normal, but in the composition its stretched.

What are the dimensions and PAR for your footage and what dimensions and PAR are your comps set to?

Do you have Pixel Aspect Ratio compensation turned on in your comp viewer?
