AE Stock Ticker
I am a complete newb to after effects and use it to create bumper videos for my church (well that’s the plan). I have been tasked with making a stock ticker, but have no clue where to begin. Thanks in advance lol.

Lots of links on this page – https://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2010/01/getting-started-with-after-eff.html. It’s good that you have a project in mind BUT you still require the basics – so that you know what it is that you’re doing and why you’re doing it.

I concur with Roland, check out the Getting Started Links, do the Basics Course from video co-pilot. Also check out shape layers in the Andrew Devis course. Those should cover the basics of what you want to accomplish. If you have specific questions after that, or a particular look you are trying to achieve(with pictures or links), come back and ask, but just a basic “how do I make this”, is just a little too opened ended.
