AE says project file “doesn’t exist”

December 14, 2017 at 3:16 pmI have a Motion Array template I have customized for a particular project, saved as a different filename to preserve the original template.
The customized version has been opened and used in AE 2017.2 previously without issue.
Now when I attempt to open it, AE gives an error message – it indicates the filename (correctly stating the entire file path) “doesn’t exist”. The file is ever so clearly there.
Corrupted file? Any ideas?
System:
Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
Win 7 64-bit
32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF. -

December 15, 2017 at 2:40 pmDo you get the message when you double-click the file itself only or do you also get it when you go to the File>Open command?

December 15, 2017 at 7:31 pmIt was happening with either approach, but not a deal-breaker anyway. I just went back to the template and re-made the file. Problem gone.
