I have a Motion Array template I have customized for a particular project, saved as a different filename to preserve the original template.

The customized version has been opened and used in AE 2017.2 previously without issue.

Now when I attempt to open it, AE gives an error message – it indicates the filename (correctly stating the entire file path) “doesn’t exist”. The file is ever so clearly there.

    Corrupted file? Any ideas?

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.

Do you get the message when you double-click the file itself only or do you also get it when you go to the File>Open command?

It was happening with either approach, but not a deal-breaker anyway. I just went back to the template and re-made the file. Problem gone.

I meet the same problem with ae 2018.3 on win10
Finally i find out one of my fold in the file path has two blanks.
Rename the wrong folder , your project will come back!
