    I am creating animations at 864×486, rendering out at TGA Sequences (so they can be converted to AVI file in the control room).

    Whenever our Chyron operator tries to import my files into our DigiSuite7.2, it says invalid resolution (864x486x32bit). I am at a loss because I don’t know the Chyron system at all.

    Is it possible that I need to create my graphics at 16:9, stretch them during rendering to a different aspect ratio/size (such as 4:3) so that the Chyron can import them, and then Chyron will spit them back out at a 16:9 ratio? I don’t know if that would screw up the files by messing with the ratio.

    SD -> HD = Headache!

    Thanks for any help!

    Try dropping that into a 720×486, D1 widescreen preset comp and rendering that.

    I don’t believe the digisuite does 16×9. The digisuite clip player on a chyron is a seprate video card that is run by the chyron. You might look into the digisuite control pannel to see if it can be set up for 16×9.
