AE rendering for iPad
Please, oh knowledgeable ones, what is the deep secret of doing a simple render from AE for the iPad?
The only “answers” I’ve found after careful searching simply repeat Apple’s specs for video. Not very helpful. In my hands rendering using MPEG4/H.264 results in a file that , when I attempt to load it from iTunes, is rejected by the iPad. I’m clearly missing something quite fundamental as it just doesn’t seem like something that is that complex. Have I set things up wrong, or is there some post-render step that I’m missing.
I would be most grateful to be initiated into this deep secret..but even more important I need to be able to get this project on the iPad by Wed.

I would render to Animation from AE, then use QT to Export to iPad.

Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5 has encoding presets for the iPad. Just use those.
