Can WinXP write to an HFS+ shared RAID though? Dont they need NTFS formatted drives?

if its connected via ethernet then it can with no added software. just turn on windows sharing under sys pref- sharing.

I understand you. It is expensive, but when you have sweated enough deadlines on projects that are worth a lot of money, you tend to dig a little deeper in your pocket book. Peace of mind and getting sleep are worth it – to me at least.
