AE RAM ?

4x2GB RAM chips
4×512 RAM chipsSo here’s the question.
Would you put the 512 chips in or leave them out?

August 13, 2007 at 8:26 pmremember, even if you have 8gb of ram (2gb for each core) for ae to use for rendering, the os will be using some of that ram too. the 2gb of extra ram (4×512) could be used by the os and any other app you have open.
