AE problem with audio driver
hello
i play sound on my computer through digidesign MBOX 2 with ASIO digidesign driver.after effects worked ok with it for a while and its just stoped working! i see the cursor move in audio preview but i dont hear any sound.
it sends the sounds to the windows audio driver, i know that because i hear it when i plug headphones diractly to the computer.
the windows settings is correct btw (set to the MBOX 2)…can anyone help?

did you try restarting everything? I work with Mbox 2 and sometimes that’s all it needs.
can you hear the audio through any other applications? -
yeah. restarted everything 5 times. still doesn’t work.

When you open preferences and go to Audio Hardware, is that set up properly too?
Do you only have this problem with AE? -
yes it is set up properely.
but i just noticed that if i play a comp that does not envolve any effects from the sound menu- it works.
it stops playing just when i’m trying to use effects on a sound layer.
still very annoying.about you question-
pro tools plays
windows media player plays
quicktime plays but not good at all
after effects- as i said.
i didn’t tried anything else…
