I’m looking for the best AE plugins. I’ve seen many and the best I know of are Trapcodes, but I’ve got a budget to get more and I want to get the best out there. Let me know, if you have some that are great. Thanks.

if you have cash, sapphire or tinderbox are nice.
but you could put your money elsewhere, like in a good matchmover.
they’re nice b/c you can use it in AE and just about all 3d apps…

Disclaimer: I’m from GenArts. That said, most vendors including us give you a free trial period so you can check them out and see what they can do for you. You can download our Sapphire trial here: https://www.genarts.com/sapphire-ae.html
and we have a free online tutorial here: https://www.genarts.com/sapphire-ae-tutorial.html which can show you some nifty techniques.

I’d also recommend taking a look at the Boris Continuum Complete plug-in set. Like the Genarts ones you’ve got a free trial period to check them out.

As well as having tons of plug-ins and presets it also gives you cool things like the Pixel Chooser and built-in motion trackers. The pixel chooser is especially useful, allowing you to limit or blend the effects without having to use multiple layers. Very useful indeed.

Um… can you tell I like them?
