AE- Particle Sytems II along path not following path
Hi so I’m pretty new to AE and I wanted to make edits of my favorite movies/shows with AE and this particular (pun intended) effect I cannot get to work. I’ve been using https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X1sceiWNsY as a guide, but around the 0:35 mark the editor has four key frames while I have only one.
TLDR; I’m trying to get particle to follow a line and I think I’m missing some keyframes to allow the particles to folllow that line.

Wow…Lol…Newb ok okay. Each time you move the position it creates a keyframe. he just edited down his own tutorial to speed things up.. Got it?

Ok since you are using that particle system you can create a new solid and draw your path on that solid. hit M to bring up masks and copy that path into the position path of your particles…alt click on stopwatch then paste path
