AE Parent Tab Gone
So I usually work on my home computer with AE and I see the Parent and child tabs in the main timeline window. At work I cannot for the life of me find these same tabs. This is CS3 and I tried toggle switches all the brackets in the bottom left I cannot make the parent tab show up! It is extremely frustrating. Anyone know how I can make that parent drop down show up next to each layer? Thank you!

Right click on the top portion of the tabs location (on source name for example)
and select “columns>parent”-Andy

Also, you can use Shift+F4 as the shortcut to reveal or hide this 🙂
F4 by itself is the shortcut for ‘toggle switches’ too, which is nice if you don’t keep them all revealed at once (to save space).
