AE-Old TV type transition (static,adjusting rabbit ears w/ channels fading in/out)
i need to do some transitions where they are described as “transmissions” the old effects where while playing with the TV’s rabbit ear antannae, you see a staticy kinda “tearing” between two different channels fight for dominance. could someone give me a kinda jumping off point to get me in the right direction to achieve this kind of effect in AE??? if there are any plug-in that could assist, please list them. thanks in advance! this is a last minute job and i have like very little time to experiment to figure out a way to go. and i havnt’t a clue were to begin. i’m intermediate level in AE. thanks again! There are many posts and a bunch of tutorials on this exact effect in the cow archives, it’s been asked a couple of times within the last week already, so just search the forum and the archives and you’ll find lots of methods.

All I can find in the forum searches are dozens of posts where people say “Why don’t you try searching?”
