I have a 20 second sequence with a total of 6 clips in it. Each file is 1080p QT Lossless and they total more than 3.8 gigs. When I put them into a composition for a full sequence and render it out to a QT Lossless, it completes the render but the final file is only 2 gigs and Quicktime tells me that it’s unable to open it because it’s not a movie file.

Can anyone help me? I would prefer to deliver one full clip to my client instead of 6 smaller ones.

keep shift pressed and go to preferences. You will get a secret tab…check what’s there…enable or disable it and try

try different outputs….not just qt….see whether it works…and don’t lose your heart After effects is only few thousand dollars software…softwares worth of tens of thousands do these kinda problems.

Please mention your hardware configuration too…
