AE New build and output card
Realizing this is an AE forum and I spend nearly 6 hrs a day in AE I hope this is an appropriate place to post this.
I am looking for input on what devices regular AE users use to display AE CS3 output on HDTV plasma. Also any ideas on a new build with motherboard. I will base this on the Q6600 due to price these days. XP 32bit, I need stability XP has provided it. I have build computers in the past but not for a few years and time to upgrade.
Currently I am using dpsReality card (dark ages i know) it has worked great but time to get into HD. Thus the upgrade.
I am not a gamer an editor or shooter (although I do short rough cuts in Premier but only for import back ito AE to effect) I have been looking at BM DeckLink HD Extreme. I don’t need every bell and whistle but looking for good quality output to HDTV. 85% of the time this is just previewing.

For output to a consumer plasma screen I’d look at the Blackmagic Intensity board. HDMI.
