    hi..

    i have a object emitting the volume light, all i wanna do is, link the light to the object, so that when i move it the light moves too.

    any help is appreciated.

    my next question.. is
    i am a 3dsmax user, cant we move around camera in real time in AE as in max,.?? huh just wondering if there is a better way to position the camera

    Just use an expession to link the lights point to the layers position.

    Camera tool? Hit “C” on your computer with the cam selected.

    There are also numerous tutorials on animating the camera (different methods and what not) that you might find helpful.

    It’s often better to parent the light to the layer when you can get away with it, this offers the added benefit of being able to offset the light from the layer easily and the light properly rotating with the layer as though it were attached to it.
