I am working on a 3D images (i.e. illustrator, photoshop, and a green screen of talent walking towards the camera) project using AE lighting with Trapcodes Lux plugin. The problem I am having is with monitoring what I am see on the active camera in AE and the NTSC monitor. I created 6-7 spot lights on the scene and everything looks fine on the active camera and NTSC monitor, but I when render out a movie everything is black except where the spots are. I added an ambient light to the scene and renders looks fine, although I can not see a difference when I change the intensity of the ambient light. Why would the active camera and NTSC give a look of an ambient light on the scene when I did not use one in the first place?

Using AJA Io box for viewing on NTSC monitor

    Thank you,

    John
