AE filters
Doing a freelance gig and they are using a mac G4 with filters like digieffects,final effects, boris effects a lot more for after effects. The system is a G4 os9 with after effects 5.5. All the filters work within after effects. He wanted me to set up another computer that is a G5 with os 10 and after effects 5.5 so I did. None of the filters work in this new set up. He bought the filters about 10 years ago they work with the first system, but not the second. What should we do?

If you check the system requirements of any of those plug ins, I would bet they will tell you they require os 9 or os x – and if you’ve got one and not the other, there’s really not much more you can do but pay for upgrades. But stay tuned, someone around here might have something else to say about it…
