  AE export compatibility on OSX

  I need to export uncompressed AVIs with a frame rate of 29.97 and millions of colors. (no audio)

  All has been fine and with the love of perian, xvid, and maybe some other codecs, I was able to see the videos in QT and VLC

  After migrating to SL (10.6.2) and installing ALL of the same QT components in Library/QT, VLC plays the files fine, but QT only opens the file with black frames.

  Checking the properties shows there is no compression on the video (no audio track at all).

  My question is how can I trick QT to play this video? (the end goal is to quickly browse files using quicklook, which needs QT compatibility)

  I had no issues with the same components/codecs on 10.5.9 with QT PRO
