AE error: crash occured while invoking effect plug-in…
What causes an error like this, with an effect, in my case Knoll Light Factory, I’ve been using this plug-in on this MAC AE 6.5 for a while and now it crashes.

riccardo – did you ever find an answer to your question? I’m getting the same type of error an error while “invoking the effect plug-in” (in my case, with a different effect, “tint”).
This is a first for me.

Did anyone find a solution to this!? I am in dire need!
I can even investigate the problem because if my playhead is even on the shot as soon as I release caps lock it crashes…
Mine is for multiple effects and plugins…
