    hi folks.

I have a problem importing a .tif with embedded (ECI-RGB.icc) color profile in after effects.
the color in after effects looks different than in photoshop.

any idea to handle this problem.

I already tried to save the .tif as a .psd without embedded color. but the effect was the same.
    the image less saturation…

    thx 4 help

Is the Color Management in Photoshop enabled?

AE doesn’t have any Color Management, and if it’s enabled in PS, you’ll see a difference.

You should use Photoshop without any Color Management.
Even if a file doen’t have profile assigned, it’s possible that Photoshop still alters the way the file is viewed on your monitor.

In Photoshop open the Color Settings window (Command-Shift-K or Ctrl-Shift-K for PC)
    Select Color Management Off
Working Space RGB should be set to Monitor RGB

There’s some discussion about After Effects (non-existing) Color Management options in Chris&Trish Meyers’ book:
“Creating Motion Graphics with After Effects: Volume 2: Advanced Techniques”

They offer a plugin on the cd that can do Profile conversions inside After Effects:
