Anyone out there using this combination of software for keying? We have several shots involving long thin curly hair and found that Primatte is creating noise all over the hair in the process of removing even a little spill. Any help appreciated. This is on green screen lit with Kino Flows.

Honestly, I haven’t worked with Keylight very much; I was just very confortable with Primatte (until yesterday). I think what’s happening is that the screen was a bit over lit (about 60 IREs) and it’s bleeding through and creating more spill than I’ve had to deal with in the past.

The weird thing is that I just re-did a key this morning from scatch and the noise is gone. Not very reliable, but as long as it works…

    Thanks,

    Vince
