    AE CS6 won’t render at the same time as c4D r 13

    I’ve noticed that if I tell AE CS6 to render while C4D is rendering on my Mac Pro it will act as though it has completed the render, but it only renders out 1mb file. No errors. This occurs when multi-processing is both on and off. Any ideas?

    This could very likely be due to a lack of available RAM for both apps. You can re-set these in AE’s prefs. Further, if C4D is set to render first, it may gulp all available RAM for itself. Thus, preventing AE from utilising its memory management services.

    Therefore, launch AE first before C4D to see if that helps.
