  • AE CS6 Digital Cinema Desktop – choosing which monitor video preview shows

I am trying to output a video preview of my comps, but can’t seem to choose which monitor AE uses for the preview. I have 4 monitors on my system. In preferences, under Video Preview, I have selected Digital Cinema Desktop as the Output Device. Under that is Output Mode. no matter which of the 4 choices I make in this list, it always defaults to one specific monitor (which is not the one I want to use). The 4 choices are: Digital Cinema Desktop Preview – Main, Digital Cinema Desktop Preview, Digital Cinema Desktop Preview – Full Screen, Digital Cinema Desktop Preview – Raw.

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell AE which monitor to use for video previews?

I am running CS6 Production Premium on a 2012 6-core 3.33GHz Mac Pro, 24GB RAM, SSD boot drive, 3TB RAID 0 for projects and assets, Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 graphics card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 120 graphics card. Also have Final Cut Studio installed (version with Final Cut Pro 7).
