Anyone know if AE CS5 takes advantage of hyperthreading?
Basically I am deciding between a Mac with Intel i5 or Intel i7 chip.

i7 is capable of hyperthreading, is AE CS5 can take advantage of it, I will spend the extra $$$

    thx

but is the Intel i5 capable of hyperthreading?
I hear that the i5 in iMac’s are NOT capable of hyperthreading, whereas the i5 in MacBook Pro is capable.

    anyone know?
