AE CS4 project files distorted in CS5
I have installed AE CS4 and CS5 in different drives and if I use the CS4 file in AE CS4 are playing well but if I used them in CS5, two colored crossed lines appeared. Both the files I bought from Videohive and and the free project files do the same. Even the project files with pre-rendered components do the same. Not sure whether to uninstall CS5 and re-install.

Sorry but I have had major issues with how that website is managed. I suggest that you obtain support from them directly or until someone else in here jumps in to help you out.
