AE CS4 not saving project correctly on closing
Hi,
Bit of an odd one this but my AE CS4 has a wierd glitch.
When i save a project and then quit AE it somehow doesn’t save properly. I don’t know how else to describe it. If i save my project then choose close project then quit, the save file is fine, but if i save, then quit without closing the project first, the save file reverts back to an earlier version.
Anyone else ever had this problem or know how to fix it? gets a bit annoying when i’ve done a load of work then forget to hit close project first!

This is indeed weird. Perhaps corrupt preferences?
Mac OS : To reset AE prefs to their defaults hold down the Command+Shift+Option keys as you launch the application.
Windows: To reset AE prefs to their defaults hold down the Control+Shift+Alt keys as you launch the application.
