AE CS4 Motion Blur on 3d Photoshop Elements
Hi,
I just started trying out AE CS4 yesterday. And I was very excited to import some geometry so I did my thing in photoshop and brought ‘er in.
And I was immediately discouraged with the wonky setup, I.E your geometry layer is 2d that you don’t touch and you use some “controller layer”.And next thing I noticed is that motion blur doesn’t seem to work. I checked all the layers to have motion blur enabled and animated my controller layer, and I get no motion blur at all.
So lets say I get a 3d element, and I boujou track it, is there a way to get 3d motion blur from that track?
So my questions are.
Is there any way to get proper 3d motion blur based on the animation you do in AE?
And is there anyway, to just have your 3d element as one layer, instead of having to deal with a “controller layer”? Like some nifty way of precomping.
Also does anyone know if adobe has plans to just let you import geometry directly into AE instead of going through photoshop?
Thank you.
