AE CS4 Crashing on last frame of render
For some reason I can not not render out from after effects. It will render all the way to the last frame and then hangs. I have tried different codec(none, animation, photojpeg), dpx sequences. I get the same results.
I have trashed preferences but holding down shift-option-apple at start up. Still get the same results.
I updated to 9.0.1 and still the same?
Any help would be great.
I’m on a macpro 2.8 dual quadcore. 6 gb of ram. Memory and cache setting are at default.

There is no footage. It is just gfx that are created in ae. At first this was happening with 1080 24p footage that was given to me as an uncompressed quicktime. I removed that footage and still get the same problem.
I have been playing with and i cant get any rendre to complete. Everything crashes the app. the mac will not let me force quit it. I have to turn the mac off in order to get ae to quit.

it turned out to be my raid controller dying. Good times!
