    Hi!

I recently buyed Adobe After Effects CS4 and I’m a bit new to it. I got a Fujitsu-Siemens Computer with a Nvidia Geforce 8600 GS, I think is Open GL compatible.
But when I run AE and try to check Enable Open GL, it ses “No Open GL compatible Graphic card found”. Please help me!

    Greetings from
    Norway

you’d have to check the list of compatible cards for cs4 (you should be able to find one on adobe, if not in the cs4 documentation). if you card is listed, then it may just be a driver update to get ae to recognize the card.

however, many ae users (including myself) don’t think opengl rendering in ae is worth much and disable it all together… opengl frequently causes stability issues and is usually one of the first things that gets disabled when you are trying to trouble shoot odd ae behavior.
