    Hi All
I am running AE CS3 on a G5 Mac quad powerPC.– Beta. So I expect these pesky nuances…
Regardless, thought I’d post a few issues I am having, in hopes these will be rectified.

So far, I’ve noticed whenever I write a script, I get an “Invalid Operating System” error. Click the “OK” button, everything works. Minor incovenience, though writing a bunch of scripts and hearing the alarm go off each time is a bit annoying….

The AutoSave preference: I check it to save every 10 minutes, keeping at most 50 projects. However, after shutting down, I lose this preference. Weird…

Only 2 quirks that I have come across worth mentioning. Love what they have done with converting an Illustrator file text to outlines…Even keeps the color of the original text. (two different words, two different colors) It now takes them and makes them in to shapes. Interesting, and big on the “cool factor”. (May of been done in 7, but never needed it until now…)
I am in the middle of a quite large time-consuming project, so I haven’t had the time to play with alot of the new stuff, but so far, quite a good job!

    Tim:
Regarding the scripting issue, could you please post your machine specs/OS version and send me screenshots of the script you’re writing and the error message window?
If possible, send this to: ar(at)adolforozenfeld.com.

As for the Autosave problem, thank you so much for catching it. It’s really, really erratic here. I could reproduce it once or twice in many attempts.
    It’ll be taken care of.
