    AE CS3 crashes when trying to setup video preview output mode

    Hi
    Have just upgraded drivers for Decklink SP to 6.5.1 and when I go to setup video preview AE crashes. I select output device as BMD but the Output mode is blank, when I click on the drop arrow it crashes.

    I am also getting a quicktime error: “couldn’t open qt video output component: – are these 2 errors related?

    Specs: Windows xp sp2, MB Asus P5B-PLUS P965, 2 GB RAM, nVidia 8600, Production Bundle CS3 Premium

    Any clues?

    Hi. I have same trouble too.
    I can preview on premiere,vegas,and videodesktop.
    but can’t preview on AE.

    on AE,I select output device as BMD but the Output mode is blank, when I click on the drop arrow it crashes.

    and downgrade to6.4deriver,AE preview works.
    but,I want to use 6.5.1 and vegas8.

    please teach me!

    spec;Q6600 mem3G x975xbx2 nvidia7900 AEcs3
