AE CS3 crashes my whole system
Hi everyone,
As you may have guessed, I have a major issue with ae cs3 at the moment. Everytime I render out my project, it reaches a certain point, and crashes my whole system. I have already read some posts with similar problems, but haven’t found a solution yet. Here are my system specs:
XP 64-bit (SP2)
ATI HD 3870
8 Gigs Ram
Realtek HD AudioI have updated after effects to 8.02, and also removed the opengl extension from the ae folder, as I have read that this can cause issues. I am also have many trapcode plugins installed as well, which aren’t being used by my current project. My computer is new, so it’s not filled with applications and other garbage so I am at a loss.
Initially, having quicktime files in my timeline would cause the system to crash everytime. I changed these qts to image sequences and things were better for a day. Now, the crashes are back. Any suggestions at all?

What version of quicktime are you running?

7.4.5. I understand that there was a major issue with 7.4. This issue has been addressed hasn’t it?
