  • AE CS3 contrast problem using Quicktime 7.2

I’m having some problem, when I import a file that’s OK, but when I render it out from AE CS3 (no changes made, and to exactly the came codec/settings), the contrast is more “flatten”.
I don’t use any color profile in AE, but I’ve been told that it could be because of Quicktime 7.2 on the Mac, that could be the reason.
Are there any that have similar experience or an explanation ?
QT 7.2 on the windows should be OK, it should only be the Mac-version that’s “bad”

Try going to your project settings and turning on the checkbox to “match legacy QT gamma”. If this solves your problem please post back letting me know, and I might be able to explain what is going on…

    Thanks,
    Matt
