    AE Crashing

    I was working in AE this morning, no problems, this afternoon I upgraded to QuickTime 7, and now evrytime I open AE and try to open a project from the file menu AE crashes. Has anyone else had this problem after the QT upgrade? Any work arounds or sugestions besides gong back to the earlier version of QT?

    Search the COW (“QT7”)on this one — the solution seems to be going back to QT 6.5.

    yes…sounds familiar! after effects doesnt like quicktime7. You have to uninstall quicktime 7 and install 6.5
    that’s what worked here.
