  AE Crashes When Reloading Footage

  About 90% of the time, when I reload footage because of it being in a different location or folder, AE will crash and ask me to save the project as a different file. Nothing happens to the original. It doesn’t get corrupted or anything because I can open it and it runs fine.

  Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks.
