  AE CC locks up everytime I open Layers

  I have tried numerous times in multiple projects with different types of media and with no media to open my Layers and dock it with my Comp window…but every time I do this AE locks up and I have to shut it down in the Task Manager.

  This is really starting to irk me and I am hoping someone somewhere has a fix for me.
