A question for all of you: I upgraded to CC 2017 just last week and added the April 19 updates as well. I’m running a HP Z820 w/96GB of RAM and an NVIDIA Quadro K4000 card.

Here’s the snag: My I/O hardware is a Matrox MXO2 LE Max box, which is end-of-lifed and ceased support for. We had this box running PPro and AE just fine until this upgrade. Well, now AE in CC 2017 just chokes when trying to get the signal to the external monitor. I mean, it went from “just fine” to “just crap” in one upgrade. So bad that you might as well turn off the monitor when in AE.

I realize there are many obvious answers…get a new I/O device, etc., but I’m just trying to determine why exactly updated software in AE kills my Matrox. Any chance another user out there in a similar setup has experience this? I just don’t want to leave any stone unturned before I press the purchase button.

    Thanks in advance! -Dave
