AE Cannot Create Outlines Error 26 :: 0
Hello,
I am working on a vector animation in which I import the AI files to AE CC 2017 as composition. AE can import some of the AI files and I can create shapes from those layers. However, it randomly does not see some of the AI files, and give me the error 26::0
I tried Object > Expand from AI files but it did not solve the problem.

From the layer icon on the timeline seems like you’re importing a sequence. I’m not sure AE can create shapes from .ai sequences. I’ve never tried.

it cannot. Op need to import them without checking the sequence checkbox all will be fine.
