    Hello all,
I’m having problem with After-effects CS6. For some unknown reason, It crashes on me as soon as I give it a command or as soon(lets say 3-4 seconds) as I import a picture/movieclip.
It doesn’t crash if I just open it and let it be. I can also move a solid around but if I try to rotate it in Y, bang he’s out.
The crash manifest itself this way :
After effects CS6 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.’

It does look to me as if it doesn’t have enough resources, but it should not the case. It’s been years since I used After-effects at home. I made several updates on the system since then.
Here is the window Event log:

Faulting application name: AfterFX.exe, version: 11.0.4.2, time stamp: 0x52886341

It would be helpful to know what version of Windows you’re running and the specs of your machine- processor, RAM, hdd setup…
Also, you may want to post this on the Adobe forums.

Thank you for your reply Tudor, I solved my problem by trashing the AE preference file. 🙂
