    Hi there,

I’m making an intro in AE for an FCP project. The sequence is prores 422, the footage par is NTSC CCIR 601. I’m wondering – do I want to make my animation comp in .9:1 pixels or square? The project is ultimately going to be exported to square pixels as it is going up on someone’s website. Am testing now but hoping someone will offer an answer sooner as my computer is sllllooooooooooowwwwww.

    Many thanks,
    -K8

Make it in exactly the same format as the FCP sequence so the editor doesn’t have to render it again. It sounds like that’s prores 422 720×486.

At that PAR, you probably should be doing field rendering. Make sure you have the dominance correct.
