  AE and HDV

  Hey, not sure what NLE everyone’s using. I’m using Avid Xpress Pro HD. I’ve been capturing 720p, 60p footage directly into Avid (No P2 cards yet).

  Anyway, I usually export these clips as QT refs (losless, uncompressed) into Adobe After Effects. This doesn’t seem to be working. It just comes into AE as a blank, white clip. From what I’ve read, I guess that I’m using the wrong codec? I’ve got all the projects frame rate and resolution set correctly.

  Is there some kind of FAQ sheet regarding various formats and codecs?

  I was looking into getting Sheer Video’s new HD Codec. However, I’m not going to be able to get my hands on that today.
