First off, I tried the OpenGL preview last night, and all I can say is WOW, it is amazing. My question is about a dual graphic card machine. I have a 7800gt and a 6200 in the same machine. (the 6200 drives a second monitor so that I can have 2 monitors and a tv (I can’t afford a Black Magic or AJA card yet))

When I was checking to see what level of support the OpenGL on the card was giving, it said that everything was supported and that the card was OpenGL 2.01. But it said that it was using the 6200. It was playing real time, so I don’t have anything to complain about yet, but I’d like to know how I can get it to use the 7800 as that card has much more power. Thanks in advance.

Anyone that needs to see something amazing should download AE 7.0 demo.

IE the one that you have your comp on?

The main monitor is being driven by the 7800 (including the video overlay on the tv (monitor 3)) the only thing hooked to the 6200 is the second monitor. I read the stuff on adobe’s site about dual graphics, but that didn’t seem to answer the question of how to get it to default to the right card.

    just an educated guess here…

but im betting its just a bug.

if your monitor that the comp is on is driven by the 7800, then it has to be using that card for the openGL
