    Hello,

    Does anyone know why this error appears when rendering with AE 7.0?

    After Effects error: could not create 10824 x 3006 image buffer.

    (7 :: 66)

    If you have come across it and found a solution to fix it please let me know.

    Many thanks,

    J

    I usually get that error if I am using a monster Photoshop file. To correct I open the file in Photoshop, CHange the image size, and then I’m good to go!

    Hi Jamie,

    What OS do you use? I have the same problem with the OSX version. I usualy purge my memory in de edit menu to fix this problem.

    AE usually can’t deal with image wider than 30000 pixel, nor can it (in my experience) handle a, for example, 10000 pixel wide image that pans more than 20000 pixels. If you really need that size image in AE a good workaround is to chop you image into 3 images 3824 x 3006, 3000 X 3006 and 4000X 3006. then in a comp, position them to line up as they should and make them the children of a null that you animate.
    Good luck
    Pete
