    Hi All,

With much excitement I have just installed my new version of AE7 PRO. However, once installed I then proceeded to start the program and the loading screen would appear but then it would simply not start disappear and not start.

This exeact problem had happened to me with my previous version of AE and the only solution was to remove the ‘OpenGL3D.AEX’ plug-in and then it would start fine. I have just done the same with AE 7 PRO and then it started fine.

Has anyone heard of a similar problem where the OpenGL3D.AEX plug would cause AE not to start?? I’m wondering if it might be a problem to do with my graphics card and its support of OpenGL?? Incase anyone is wondering i’m using a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200.

Otherwise can anyone tell me if AE will run any differently without this plug-in.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Tod

Update your nVidia drivers. Your graphics card should run without problems in combination with AE and you should not experience any OpenGL problems.
